The Mission of the Sahara Humanitarian Collective

Providing vital, sustainable, and dignified support to nomadic communities in the Moroccan Sahara.

Official Mission Statement

The Sahara Humanitarian Collective โ€” Nomadic Population Aid (RNA: MA-8588520), founded and led by Mr. Farouk Sami, is dedicated to guaranteeing equitable access to clean drinking water, primary healthcare, basic education, and human dignity for all nomadic families living in isolated desert regions of the Moroccan Sahara.

1. Context & Purpose

Nomadic communities in the Sahara confront severe environmental challenges, including prolonged droughts and acute geographical isolation from municipal healthcare and water networks. The Sahara Humanitarian Collective was established as an independent non-governmental organisation (NGO) to bridge these infrastructure gaps autonomously, neutrally, and sustainably.

2. Our Four Core Operational Pillars

๐Ÿšฐ Solar Water Wells & Water Security

Drilling and equipping deep water wells with solar photovoltaic pumps and 10,000-liter automated storage tanks. Water access is provided 100% free of charge to all nomadic encampments within operational range.

๐Ÿฉบ Mobile Medical Caravans

Deploying all-terrain mobile clinics staffed by volunteer doctors and nurses. Providing free essential medications, pediatric screenings, and maternal healthcare in remote desert locations.

๐ŸŽ’ Mobile Classrooms & Education

Supporting literacy among nomadic children through mobile tent classrooms, complete educational kits, and merit encouragement grants for continuing studies.

โ›บ Emergency Relief & Desert Shelter

Distributing emergency desert survival supplies, including reinforced desert tents engineered to withstand sandstorms and portable solar power units for isolated households.

3. Ethical & Operating Principles

Our humanitarian work is governed by four core principles:
